Most of our administrative staff are working remotely and will be checking the office voicemails and returning calls for a few hours on a daily basis.
Dr. Mukhara will be back in the office beginning September 1st, 2021 seeing patients in person Monday through Thursday. Also, effective September 1st, 2021, Dr. Abdel-Kader will be in the office on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS ONLY to give patients the option for in-person or telehealth appointments. Our other psychiatrists are only providing telehealth sessions though the doxy.me platform. Below are their links for you to sign into at your appointment time. Billing information - Payment is due at the time of service, however due to COVID-19, most of you are not coming into the office. You may call the office to pay over the phone or mail in payments. We send out statements monthly. An email notification will come from email@example.com. If you want to view your actual statement, you will need to create a user name and password on the MyProviderLink website and you can view it as well as pay online through that site.
Again, please continue to follow the recommendations of the CDC and stay safe! We ask that patients wear a face covering when in the waiting room.
In response to COVID-19, Potomac Psychological Center, in an effort to help keep our clients safe, is pleased to announce we are offering telepsych services! This will allow our clients to remain at home and still receive the services they need through a video interaction with their provider. Many of our providers will be utilizing the doxy.me platform to achieve this goal. Please contact our front office at 703-858-7838 x100 or your provider directly if you are interested in participating in this service. You will be instructed to visit the doxy.me website, click on the "Get Started - For Free" tab, then click "I Am a Patient" where you will be able to enter a link provided by our staff to begin your telepsych session with your participating provider. Best of all, most major insurances will provide coverage for this type of service!

Recently experienced, or are currently experiencing, cold or flu-like symptoms such as a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing
Recently been in contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19
Recently traveled outside of the local area, state, or country in areas currently experiencing the COVID-19 outbreak
